RIDE RIGHT OTAGO RIDER TRAINING
Ride Right Otago is made up of trained volunteers from BRONZ Otago and the Otago Motorcycle Club. This group is, with the support of ACC, providing rider skills training. This has been designed for motorcyclists who want to enjoy their riding more and be back to do it again tomorrow.
The course is for 1 day and teaches existing riders – whether learner or experienced – some key skills for survival on our roads – low speed manoeuvring, precision steering, hazard avoidance, cornering & emergency braking plus information about how motorcycles work and why they go round corners .
This one day session is great if you have bought a new bike and want to get to know it better. If you regularly ride with a pillion you can bring them as well so they learn how the bike will react and how they can help the rider control the bike.
Please note - this training is not designed to teach how to ride and does not reduce any learner/restricted licence time.
If you would like to extend your skills and knowledge please contact the BRONZ Otago rep on president@bronzotago.co.nz or phone Linden on 03-4556789.
